S2U Design provides manufacturing judgement and commercial support for companies sourcing and manufacturing in Vietnam.

2. Information we collect

Send the Brief form

When you submit the Send the Brief form, we collect the information you choose to provide, including:

  • Name
  • Company
  • Email address
  • Website, if provided
  • Enquiry category
  • Product information
  • Details of the manufacturing decision you are facing
  • Current situation
  • Required timeframe
  • Files you upload

Direct correspondence

If you contact us directly by email, WhatsApp, LinkedIn or another communication channel, we receive the information included in your message and the contact details associated with that channel.

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the website and to improve its performance and content. Depending on your consent choices and the configuration in use, analytics information may include page views, session information, approximate location, browser and device information, and interactions with website features. Google Analytics uses a first-party cookie such as _ga to distinguish users and sessions when analytics storage is permitted.

3. Why we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • Assess and respond to enquiries
  • Discuss the product, factory issue or manufacturing decision described in the brief
  • Provide requested services and administer a resulting commercial relationship
  • Maintain business records and meet legal, accounting and administrative obligations

We do not sell personal information or use enquiry information for unrelated marketing.

We process enquiry and correspondence information where it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, to perform a contract, or for our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries, managing customer relationships and keeping appropriate business records.

We process non-essential analytics information on the basis of your consent. You can refuse or withdraw analytics consent through the website cookie settings without affecting your ability to use the essential parts of the website.

Where the law requires us to retain or disclose information, we process it to comply with that legal obligation.

5. How information is stored and protected

The website is hosted by one.com. Enquiries submitted through the website are sent directly to henrik@s2udesign.com. Uploaded files are used to assess the enquiry and any resulting work.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

6. Sharing information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only where necessary to operate the website, communicate with you, provide requested services, obtain professional support or comply with legal obligations.

Relevant service providers may include one.com for website hosting and email services, Google for website analytics, and professional advisers or service providers engaged for accounting, legal, IT or operational support. They receive only the information required for their role.

Where a project requires factory, technical or operational work in Vietnam, relevant information may be shared with CTY TNHH S2U Design Vietnam and, where necessary, with factories, subcontractors or other project participants. We limit such sharing to what is required to evaluate or perform the requested work.

7. International data transfers

S2U Design operates across the United Kingdom, Denmark and Vietnam. Your enquiry may therefore be accessed or processed in more than one country when this is necessary to respond to you or carry out requested work.

Some service providers, including Google, may process information outside the country in which you are located. Where data protection law requires safeguards for an international transfer, the relevant controller relies on an approved transfer mechanism or other lawful safeguard.

8. Cookies and Google Analytics

The website uses essential cookies required for security and core functionality. These cookies do not require consent where they are strictly necessary for the service requested by the visitor.

Google Analytics cookies and similar non-essential technologies are used only according to the consent choices recorded through the website cookie banner. Analytics cookies are not used to serve personalised advertising through this website.

9. How long we retain information

We keep enquiry, correspondence and project information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including the management of a potential or active commercial relationship and applicable legal, accounting or administrative requirements.

Google Analytics information is retained according to the retention settings applied to the S2U Design Analytics property. Aggregated reports may remain available after user-level or event-level information has been deleted.

  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Request deletion where the law allows
  • Request restriction of processing

For matters handled by S2U Design Denmark ApS, this is the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet). You may also contact the supervisory authority in the country where you live or work where applicable.
